I recently received an eBay gift certificate from my sister for Xmas and was super excited to make a purchase. I ended up getting a Genuine Innovations CO2 charger for using with my ball-lock corny beer keg. This beer charger provides mobile beer gas solutions and sure beats lugging around a 25 lb. CO2 tank.
The only catch to this product is that you have to replace the CO2 cartridge every 2.5 gallons. This means if I am serving up 5 gallons of brew, I will need 2 CO2 cartridges for one 5 gal. corny keg.
This got me thinking that if I am going to serve beer at one event with at least two – 5 gallons kegs using this CO2 charger (and a few local micro-commercials on the larger CO2 tank) – I am going to need a inexpensive supplier/vendor for CO2 beer chargers for my portable kegging needs.
